Peace that remains while the storm is still happening.
It’s been a little over 2 months since I lost my job and the second time in two years that I’ve been unemployed.
The first period of unemployment wore me down and almost broke me completely. But, Jehovah saw me through that season even though it was incredibly stressful.
This time is different. This time I have even less than I had before, yet I am at peace in spite of the torrent around me. Jehovah has, and continues to be with me through it all. I don’t doubt his presence or his support. He is with me. I’m still standing. Every morning I continue putting Jehovah first, trusting that each faithful step will eventually lead me out of this storm.
“You will safeguard those who fully lean on you; You will give them continuous peace, Because it is in you that they trust.”
